🚀 Getting Started

How to Activate

Open your Shopify Admin and go to Online Store > Themes.
Click Customize on your current theme.
For Product Pages: Click "Add Block" inside the Product Information section and select Apex Stock Counter.
For Grids/Collections: Go to "App Embeds" (icon on the far left) and toggle Apex Product Card Stock to ON.

Note: You can adjust the "Low Stock Threshold" slider in the block settings to determine when the urgency message appears (Default: 10).

🧠 Logic Engine

The app automatically calculates the correct state based on your inventory levels and Shopify settings:

Ready

Stock is Equal to or Above your Low Stock Threshold.

Low Stock

Stock is Greater than 0 but below your Threshold.

Pre-order

Stock is 0 or below and "Continue Selling when out of stock" is ON.

Sold Out

Stock is 0 and "Continue Selling when out of stock" is OFF.

✨ Pulse Animation

The "Low Stock" badge includes a subtle breathing animation to catch customer attention. The behavior differs by location:

Product Pages (Blocks): Pulses 2 times and then stops. This ensures it catches the eye without distracting from the Buy Button.
Collection Grids (Cards): Pulses continuously to ensure the badge stands out amidst a busy grid of product images.

⚖️ B2B vs B2C Modes

Dynamic Display Presets v6.6

You can switch the text mode in settings. If you leave a text field as PRESET_MODE, it uses these defaults:

Retail (B2C) Mode:

In Stock: "Ready to ship" (No exact number shown)
Low Stock: "Only [qty] left – order soon!" (Creates Urgency)
Pre-order: "Pre-order – ships soon"

Wholesale (B2B) Mode:

In Stock: "[qty] Units Available" (Transparent Data)
Low Stock: "Limited availability: [qty] units"
Pre-order: "Available on Backorder"

Custom Text: You can delete PRESET_MODE and type anything. Use [qty] to insert the live number.

🔄 Factory Defaults & Reset

How to Reset Settings

App Embed settings are saved in your theme and do not reset automatically. To restore factory defaults manually:

Text Fields: Delete your custom text and type exactly PRESET_MODE
Threshold: Set slider to 10.
Typography: Bold, 13px, Center Alignment.

🛠️ Advanced Tools

Hiding Badges (Tags)

To hide the stock counter for specific products (e.g., Gift Cards), add these tags in your Shopify Admin:

apex-hide-block : Hides the counter on the Product Page.
apex-hide-card : Hides the badge on Collection Grids.

Self-Diagnosis Tool

If badges aren't appearing, open your browser Console (Right Click > Inspect > Console) and type ApexDebug then press Enter. The app will print a full status report to help you troubleshoot.
